A yoga teacher, martial artist, Lomilomi masseur and Shibari instructor, Levi burns for body work. Through his diverse practices he’s developed his own style of tying that he calls Shantibari (from Shibari and Shanti, Sanskrit for peace, tranquility and calmness of mind). 

Watching Levi tie, as well as getting tied by him, is nothing short of mesmerizing. With an unparalleled attention to detail—as well as to his model—he turns even the simplest tie into a full fledged sensory experience while creating a feeling of suspense that is tangible. If you’re passionate about body movement, floor work and creating connection in ropes, you’re going to want to learn from this guy! —I know I do.

The workshop

In the five hour in-depth floor work class (minus a lunch break) you will learn and practice a typical welcome tie which is typically used to connect with a (new) partner in ropes. We’ll move through themes like emotion and connection in rope, tying in motion, leading with the rope, engaging your partner, closeness vs. distance, tempo change and more.
